Begonia maculata ‘Polka Dot’ – 4"
One of the most recognizable begonias around, the Polka Dot Begonia makes a statement with long, deep-green leaves covered in bright silver spots and rich reddish undersides.
Also known as Begonia maculata, this cane begonia develops an upright, architectural growth habit and can become an impressive specimen with the right care. And as if the foliage weren't enough, mature plants can also produce delicate clusters of flowers.

Why We Love It
Few houseplants combine pattern, color, and structure quite like the Polka Dot Begonia. The silvery spotting looks almost painted onto the foliage, while the burgundy-red leaf backs add another layer of color.
As it grows taller, it becomes an increasingly dramatic statement plant without requiring an enormous footprint.
Bigfoot Tip
Give your Polka Dot Begonia plenty of bright indirect light and good airflow. Avoid keeping the soil continuously wet, and try to water at the soil level rather than regularly soaking the foliage.
If it becomes tall or leggy, don't be afraid to prune it. Cane begonias respond well to trimming, which can encourage a fuller, bushier plant.
Please note: Plants are living, naturally variable products. The plant pictured represents the variety, approximate size, and quality you can expect. Individual plants may vary slightly in leaf count, spotting, coloration, shape, and growth.
