Colorful, glossy, and surprisingly easygoing, Hoya australis ‘Lisa’ is a variegated Hoya with foliage that can look different from leaf to leaf.
New growth often emerges in shades of pink, red, and bronze before settling into a beautiful mix of creamy yellow, green, and variegated tones. Its thick, waxy leaves and trailing growth make it equally at home climbing a small trellis or spilling from a shelf.
And with maturity and the right conditions, ‘Lisa’ can produce the fragrant, star-shaped flower clusters Hoyas are famous for.

Why We Love It
‘Lisa’ gives you considerably more color than a typical green Hoya without demanding complicated care. The combination of cream, green, yellow, blush, and bronze foliage means even a relatively small plant can have a lot going on visually.
The new growth is especially fun to watch—the warmer pink and reddish tones gradually change as each leaf matures.

Give ‘Lisa’ plenty of bright indirect light to encourage strong growth and attractive variegation.
Hoyas generally prefer drying more between waterings than many tropical houseplants. Those thick leaves store moisture, so resist the urge to water simply because the surface of the soil looks dry.
And once your Hoya flowers, don't remove the old flower spurs. Hoyas can bloom repeatedly from the same peduncles.
